Course Summaries

Beginning Section 8 & Beginning Public Housing – Our beginning classes are designed for those who are new to Lindsey Software as well as those needing refresh training.  These courses cover Tenant & Applicant Processing, Word Bridge, and PIC Training.  Our Section 8 training covers our Account Payable module for your Section 8 invoices and checks and our Public Housing Training cover the Tenant Accounts Receivable and Receipt Systems for managing tenant payments.

Advanced Section 8 & Advanced Public Housing – These courses are great for those who are already familiar with Lindsey Software and are ready to dig deeper and learn how our reporting features can help with information gathering and the overall management of your occupancy departments.  These courses are a great opportunity for one-on-one time with a Lindsey Software consultant where you can ask your questions and also visit with others from the Lindsey Software user community about how they are utilizing their software within their organizations.

Accounting – Learn how Lindsey’s accounting modules can help you save time while also simplifying your processes and ensuring accuracy in your accounting.

Beginning Accounting - Our beginning accounting courses are a great way to get new employees started on the right track!  Whether you are new to Lindsey Software or just new to our accounting modules, you will walk away with a basic understanding of the Lindsey Accounting modules.  This course covers:  Tenant Accounts Receivable and Receipt System, Fixed Assets, Excess Utilities, Acounts Payable, and Bank Account Manager.

Advanced Accounting – This course is great for Housing Authorities that utilize fee accounting services.  This course covers the basics:  Tenant Accounts Receivable and Receipt systems, Fixed Assets, Excess Utilities, Accounts Payable, and Bank Account Manager.  Learn how to fully utilize the great features in these modules to maintain accuracy and reduce redundancy.  Our advanced classes focus on higher level usage, including setup options and reporting.

Maintenance & Work Orders – Your maintenance and Work Orders affect a large part of your overall organization, including your scoring!  Learn how to correctly use the Work Order module to ensure a high PHAS score.  This course will cover the Purchase Order and Inventory modules (and how they work together to save you time!)  Also covered are the Fixed Assets, Section 8 Inspection, and Excess Utility modules.  Learn how all of these modules work together to help your maintenance department run smoothly, stay in compliance, and maintain great scoring!
