Lindsey Software System’s training facility is located in the US Bank Building on the banks of the Arkansas River in Little Rock. Hotel accommodations are available at the Wyndham Riverfront, directly across from the US Bank Building, at a rate of $84 per night. Our training center is located on the 7th Floor, Suite 730, the last door on the left in the hallway to the left. Guests need to book their room under the “Lindsey Software Corporate Rate”. Any guest that is HUD and Housing Authority tax exempt will need to inform the reservation desk when making the reservation and present a tax exemption certificate upon check-in.
The Wyndham Riverfront provides free shuttle service to the Little Rock National Airport and is home to the Riverfront Steakhouse and Benihana’s Japanese Steakhouse. Thus, there is no reason to rent a car while in town for training, which will help cut down on your travel expenses. Please call 501.371.9000 for reservations and be sure and tell them you are with Lindsey Software to receive the $84 per night rate.
Seating for each class/course is limited to twelve (12) attendees.
Other valuable information: The hotel provides free shuttle service from the Little Rock National Airport (ask when making your reservations) and has free on-site parking.
The hotel is located near the Clinton Presidential Library, River Market entertainment district, Alltel Arena and other area attractions.
The River Rail Trolley stops on the East side of the US Bank Building. The trolley runs to the River Market, Clinton Library and other downtown attractions. The cost is $.50 (the trolley operator cannot make change).
Restaurants on the North Little Rock side of the river include: Benihana Japanese Steakhouse and the Riverfront Steakhouse (both located inside the hotel), Creegen’s Irish Pub, Reno’s, Starving Artist Cafe, and the Argenta Market (walking distance from the hotel).
River Market dining options include: The Flying Fish, the Underground Pub, Bosco’s, the Flying Saucer, Gusano’s Pizzeria, San Francisco Bread Company, Iriana’s Pizza, Sticky Fingerz Chicken Shack, Sonny Williams Steakhouse, Capriccio Grill steakhouse in the Peabody, Vermillion Water Grille and others. All are located within a short walk of the multiple trolley stops in the River Market.
Three malls are located within a short drive of the hotel. McMain Mall in North Little Rock is located just off of US 67/167, approximately four miles, while Little Rock features both Park Plaza and Midtowne Shopping Center, both located off I-630 on University Avenue (approximately six miles).
The Little Rock Symphony Orchestra, Arkansas Repertory Theatre, Robinson Auditorium and Alltel Arena (www.alltelarena.com) all host a variety of concerts and shows throughout the year and all are located near the trolley route.
Museums in the area include: the Clinton Presidential Library (www.clintonlibrary.gov), USS Razorback Submarine, Historic Arkansas Museum, Old Statehouse Museum, Arkansas Arts Center and Museum of Discovery. All are located in the downtown LR/NLR area.
